A world of innovation for a world of change
Following the success of last year’s theme – Future, kbb has continued to forecast forthcoming trends and challenges facing the UK kbb community; kbb Birmingham will manifest the four trends and challenges in each feature across the show, providing innovation, inspiration and insight to help businesses grow in a world of change through the conference topics, Innovation Awards and a range of industry room-sets. Their four trends are:
Society – evolving customer behaviours alter the meaning of lifestyle design;
Smart technology – be it future or fad, ‘smart’ is creating new possibilities for those on both sides of the debate;
Disruption as opportunity – ‘Disruptors’ change the construction landscape, heralding new design opportunities;
Materiality: UK consumers demand higher quality products and materials;
Retail and Design conference
KBB review will return to this year’s kbb Birmingham with their Retail and Design conference, you’ll hear practical advices, brand solutions, will get ideas “how” and “what’s better”. Some of this year’s topics include: 4G kitchens and bathrooms, smart: advancing technologies create new design possibilities in a smart home, materiality: an insight into the future material and colour trends set to influence the sectoretc.

Innovation Awards
Event panel of judges – Andy Bishop, Ruth Bell, Hayley Tarrington-Robson, Matthew Walmsley, Colin Wong will scour through the entries to select four winners, supportive of four themes, each of which will be rewarded for their creative thinking with a unique Innovation Award displayed on their stand. Who’s going to be the winners this year?
