Areen Design has been providing Design solutions for over 30 years, and their head designer, Theo Nicolaou, has been practicing interior design for almost that long. From developing design concepts for high profile commercial brands and designing luxury hotel developments for the hospitality sector to providing strategic direction for commercial clients, Theo has a wide range of experience.
Theo believes the key to a strong project is a strong brief to which he can tailor a design solution ensuring that the result is always be ‘fit for purpose’. His design solutions incorporate the latest technologies, enhancing user experience and interaction.

Q: What do you love about your work?
A: It sounds unreal but I love everything about my work; even the difficult client. Perhaps I was just lucky in picking a career which gives me the opportunity to travel the world, something I always wanted to do and still enjoy[…].
Q: What do you love in a room?
A: Natural daylight is top of my list, but for me it’s not always about what’s in a room but what’s outside it. The relationship between our interiors and what is happening on the outside is crucial[…].
