If you find yourselves in London this weekend you are in luck. We are thrilled to let you know that our amazing city will be hosting Graduate Fashion Week 2014 on Saturday 31st May – Tuesday 3rd June 2014.
Graduate Fashion Week is the world’s leading event for fashion graduates and represents the future of creative design talent. This charity organisation, founded in 1991 by Jeff Banks CBE, Vanessa Denza MBE and John Walford, strives to unify both UK and international universities and create a foundation for the creative industries.
The 23rd edition of GFW will be happening in a brand new exciting venue – The Truman Brewery, London E1. This new location is conveniently positioned in the creative district at the very heart of East London with good transport links.
Over 1,000 graduates from more than 40 of the most influential UK and international universities will be showcasing their work on 22 catwalk show, exhibitions. This event attracts over 20,000 guests each June and also features an acclaimed Gala Award Show. Posing as a platform for the promotion of new talent, Graduate Fashion Week bridges the gap between graduation and employment, successfully launching the careers of designer names such as Giles Deacon, Christopher Bailey, Stella McCartney and Julien Macdonald.
