They joined forces almost two decades ago to sell electronic accessories and interiors fittings from around the world. Today friends and business partners Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cunietti, run hugely successful interior design firm Carden Cunietti.
The creative pair, who head a team of talented designers in Little Venice, have designers numerous luxurious homes in UK and across the world and appeared in a host of magazines, including Vogue and Elle Decoration.
Last year they walked away with the coveted Hmes and Gardens 2013 Interior Designers of the Year award.
Their backgrounds couldn’t be more different. The New York-born Cunietti grew up in Toronto before moving to England – “I wanted to be a furniture designer, then came to the UK on holiday and decided it was the place for me.”
Carden, meanwhile, studied history at Glasgow University and had visions of working in the museum.
That was 18 years ago, and they have been collaborating ever since.
Our style understated gamour with an emphasis on cofort and hopefully,creating a classic, timeless environment for our clients to live in. We try to work to the client’s brief but also push them to be brave where required. We are very much a service led company and are happy to work as part of a large design team on big projects, ut will take on one room re-models.
