Welcome to a new segment in our blog! We will show you the best hospitality projects from around the globe, focusing on major cities from the English speaking world. We will of course start with our very own London, which has such a great number of projects to choose from that we can’t include them all. We chose 7 of the most fabulous hospitality projects in London for you to enjoy!
One of 2014’s most significant openings, The Beaumont is a five-star hotel born out of a Mayfair car garage. When you are entering the entrance lobby of the hotel, you feel you are transported, seamlessly and without gimmick into the art deco era. There is a sense of quiet, and of history – as if the grand rooms have witnessed a myriad of moments and occasions over the decades.
As part of the 150-year anniversary celebrations, the hotel has rebirthed guestrooms and suites, which have been exclusively designed by Richmond International. No stranger to the Langham brand, hospitality design experts Richmond International have worked on The Langham London – as well as other properties around the world – as the hotel renovates its facilities piece by piece, project by project.
Lovers of art, admirers of design: Boundary welcomes you. A combination of fine art and fine taste for the sophisticated traveler. Inspire by a legendary designer or design movement, from Young British to Bauhaus, Eileen Gray to Le Corbusier it has 12 elegant, contemporary guestrooms. Above, five suites, including four duplexes, range from Modern Dickensian to Modern Chinoiserie, featuring private outdoor balconies and impressive urban views.

The London Edition
Hotelier Ian Schrager and architecture firm Yabu Pushelburg introduce a beautifully restored property in a contract furniture with Marriott. The building is a shining example of Belle Epoque grandeur, and the designers preserved landmark details like stained-glass windows and marble floors, while Schrager and his team provide direction to the overall interior scheme.
The Ritz London is one of the most glamorous five-stars hotels in the English capital. The combination of marvelous architecture, great service, and various luxurious qualities qualifies it as one of the best hotel interior designs.
The rooms and suites are all individually designed by Cesar and he introduced hot and cold water plumbing, built-in cupboards, fireplace and heated towel bar in every guestroom. The opulence is found in the marble columns and floors. Cesar had all bedrooms painted in white with brass beddings due to his high attention to cleanliness. The hotel now has numerous color schemes with the same floral pattern on its upholsteries, draperies and metal ornaments.
The Shangri-La at the Shard
Offering what are set to be the best views possible of the city, The Shangri-La at the Shard has all rooms with unique and individual and design elements. There aren’t too many words to describe one of the Top hotel interior designs and view! So, check it with your own eyes.
45 Park Lane
If you are an Art Deco enthusiast and you don’t know where to stay in London here it is the perfect match: 45 Park Lane. The hotel interior design is masculine, with lots of dark wood, suede, and leather. It has its heart in the 1920s even as its rooms brim with state-of-the-art gadgetry. Architect/designer Thierry Despont accentuated the property’s streamlined facade with horizontal fins.
