Bermondsey-based Dame Zandra Rhodes presented her first ever retrospective fashion show in the UK at Clothes Show Live in December
The founder of the Fashion and Textile Museum on Bermondsey Street, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last weekend, showcased 24 of her dresses from across the decades, including her signature prints, colours and fabrics from the 60s through to the 00s.
Clothes Show Live in association with Alcatel OneTouch welcomed the iconic fashion designer to the show on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December. In an exclusive interview hosted on stage by Hilary Alexander OBE, Dame Zandra Rhodes, who curated the exclusive show herself, shared her life-long love of fashion and textiles with the audience at Clothes Show Live, highlighting her major contribution to the British fashion industry over the last 50 years.
As well as a glimpse through her impressive design archive, Dame Zandra Rhodes presented her new couture collection for SS15 on the catwalk (seen in the picture above), including her latest collaboration with ethical clothing label People Tree.
