John Minshaw Designs has been designing and building private residences for over 30 years, headed by the amazing interior designer John Minshaw. He says he came to interiors by default, but the influence of his early training in fine art is clear, his style is to buy good antiques and design bespoke cabinetry, and then put them into pared-down interiors.
This top architectural and interior design practice specializes in private residential work. His projects are almost invariably listed houses, although they span different periods, from Georgian to Arts and Crafts, and they tend to be located in London and the south east, although he does undertake occasional projects across Europe. In its 30-year history, the practice has built up a singular reputation for its ability to design contemporary interiors that are in harmony with their period settings.
