St Mary’s Secret Garden 

In 1986 a group of local volunteers started clearing a disused green space. The garden then began to engage with local community & disabled groups using horticulture as therapy as Thrive (National charity for Horticultural Therapy). In 2006 the garden became St Mary’s Secret Garden with a greater mission to bring gardening and garden based activities to the wider community for the benefit of all, whilst still maintaining its therapeutic roots. It is a great place to start your day, to relax and spend some time in nature! The Secret Garden is open during the weekdays from 9 am till 5 pm.

Scooter Café 

Spending time in London can be very tiresome. It is important to find a time to sit and relax, for example, drinking coffee in the Scooter Café that is located at 132 Lower Marsh street in London. It is a quirky little coffee shop that roasts their own beans. The drinks that they offer have very good opinion amongst café’s clients. You can also try their delicious cakes, though the menu doesn’t offer any meals. The Scooter Café has great relaxing vibe and interesting design. It is a great place to take a short break during a day!

Camden Passage Antique Market 

Since the 1950’s Camden Passage ranked alongside Portobello, Kensington Church Street and Spitalfields as one of London’s leading antique locations, in later years the area has diversified with many new shops, restaurants, cafes and market stalls. Within Camden Passage you can find fashionable contemporary clothing, modern designer jewellery, Japanese art prints, handmade chocolates, specialist delicatessens, a fishmonger and excellent restaurants and cafes.

Dennis Severs’ House

Dennis Severs’ House at 18 Folgate Street, Spitalfields is more than just a time capsule. It is both a breathtaking and an intimate portrait of the lives of a family of Huguenot silk-weavers from 1724 to the dawn of the 20th Century. As you follow their fortunes through the generations, the sights, smells and sounds of the house take you into their lives. It was Dennis Severs’ intention that as you enter his house it is as if you have passed through the surface of a painting, exploring with your senses and imagination a meticulously crafted 18th Century world.

Oldroyd 

Oldroyd is a tiny restaurant that opened its doors on 9^th July 2015 at 344 Upper Street, just off Camden passage and Islington Green. The restaurant offers a daily changing European menu built around the best seasonal British ingredients. “I really hope Oldroyd will become an integral part of the Islington dining scene, offering relaxed service and delicious food to locals and visitors alike” – said the owner, Tom Oldroyd.

The Wallace Collection 

The Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house. In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays of French 18th-century painting, furniture and porcelain with superb Old Master paintings and a world class armoury. It’s for free and opened 7 days a week, from 10 am till 5pm.

Secret Cinema 

For the evening, we recommend to go to the Secret Cinema. What is a better way to spend evening than a movie session? You won’t find better company than great movie stars, like Patrick Swayze or Harrison Ford. Secret Cinema fuses film, music, theatre and art, creating large-scale cultural experiences in abandoned spaces. Audiences explore ultra-immersive worlds where fiction and reality blur. Breaking films – and recently music albums – into their constituent parts and marrying narratives with theatrical action, Secret Cinema is a unique participatory social experience.

Wilton’s Music Hall 

Another option for the evening is listening to good music, for example in Wilton’s Music Hall. Wilton’s is one of the last and oldest surviving grand music halls in the world offering a vibrant blend of culture, heritage, learning and participation. They give opportunities to emerging artists and present a year round programme that includes theatre (new commissions and classics), opera, dance, magic, music (classical and contemporary), cinema, circus, traditional music hall, comedy, puppetry and other art forms.

The Windsor Castle, Kensington 

If you’d dropped in at this west London pub in the late 1830s, you’d have said its name was more than fitting. With its segregation of the classes (and the sexes) it must have been like experiencing Queen Victoria’s court. Today the Windsor Castle attracts a much more chilled crowd from Kensington, Notting Hill and Holland Park, who’re tempted in by our delicious pub food and impressive range of speciality drinks.
