Tim Gosling, one of the most renowned british furniture designers, is curating the main entrace at this year’s Decorex 2016 (18-21 September).
The theme for this year is, the roots of design, and to embracing it, Tim Gosling created an remarkable exhibition called: ‘The Heritage of Chair Making’, that documents the links between interior design, architecture and the exceptional heritage of British craftsmanship through the ages.

Working with the historic collections from the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Frederick Parker collection, Tim will be asking 12 leading British visual creators including: Paul Smith; Jasper Conran and James Dyson, to choose their favourite piece and why it speaks to them. Gosling comments: “The UK has some of the most important furniture collections in the world, but due to conservation it is not always possible to put them on public display. Thanks to the support of the V&A and The Frederick Parker Collection, I am delighted to be curating an exhibition of chairs, which includes many of these rare and extraordinary pieces.”
After watching these beautiful interiors created by this remarkable designer, we will expect a notorious great main entrance in Decorex 2016, that promises to be an event full of surprises!
