Staffan and Monique Tollgard, both graduates of the Inchbald School of Design, run the Staffan Tollgard Design Group, offering an award-winning architectural interior design service for international clients. Their flagship showroom is in Belgravia, London.

Staffan was born and raised in Stockholm and he uses the Swedish expression of the “red thread” to explain the creative DNA that runs through each design, giving it authenticity and coherence.
Staffan Tollgard father worked for IBM in the 80’s and was transferred to London for three years wherein he moved them all out to Barnes. That was the start of a fascination with London for the whole family. In 1996, Staffan moved over to Bournemouth to go to film school having moved to London after the graduation where he renovated his first home and enrolled at Inchbald School of Design shortly afterwards in 2003.
In 2005, the opened Staffan Tollgard design studio and was quickly recognized as one of the Top ten interior designer to have under-view by industry insiders in IdFX. Later, in 2009 Staffan made the list of leading Interior designer by House & Garden’s renown directory.
In February 2010, he opened a design studio in Algarve, having worked in a lot of contemporary new builds, one of which the Best Residential in Portugal in 2012 at the Internation Property Awards. His authentic style is born out of Asian and Scandinavian functionalism, mixed with a strong appreciation of furniture as sculptural art.
Iconic and extravagant Quinta Villa in Portugal
Quinta Villa is a big property located in a South Portugal region called Algarve and it is renowned for being one of the nicest and pleasant thanks to the edgy design.
The private residence is an icon from Staffan Tollgard’s portfolio not just because is very known and vaunted by the professionals and also the media but also because it combines a selection of different colours, shades and materials chosen for the exterior and interior.
Art pieces are something very present in this property mixed with the state-of-the-art kitchen finished in pristine and as you walk through the living room you can notice accentuated pops of colour from a selection of different art works and furniture.
Completing the villa is a large swimming pool and outdoor seating area complete with LED lighting.
