The prestigious event London Craft Week returns to the British Capital for its fifth edition from 8-12 May 2019. This event celebrates outstanding British and International creativity, and this year Portuguese Craftsmanship will be well represented.
Craft Week brings together over 240 established and emerging makers, designers, brands and galleries from around the world. The Portuguese Embassy in London is celebrating Crafts Week and it will count with the help of Boca do Lobo, a design brand recognized worldwide by combining traditional craftsmanship techniques with contemporary design.
That’s why this embassy will showcase during the next weeks one of its most iconic pieces of Boca do Lobo, the Once Upon a Time Pixel Cabinet. Brought to life from the merging of the iconic Pixel cabinet by Boca do Lobo and the delicate hand painted porcelain by the renowned Vista Alegre, the exquisite bar cabinet Limited Edition truly seems to come from a dream or a fairytale. A collectible design limited to eight pieces that celebrate the beginning of Vista Alegre’s path in the furniture field. Each work of art can be customized with the future collector’s name.
Iconic and unparalleled, the Pixel bar cabinet presents a ground-breaking work of pioneering design. It carries the dedication of those who built it to craft an avant-garde furniture piece that is authentic, playful and a perfect match for the digital age. A timeless combination of mirror and blue velvet on its interior, featuring three drawers.
This exclusive event during London Craft Week will also feature other iconic Boca do Lobo‘s pieces, such as the Equator Globe Bar, the Emporium Chair, and the Nº11 Dining Chair. The exhibition of luxury design will take place since the 8th to the 10th of May, and of the 9th there will be a drinks reception, demonstration and open house, where master artisans will demonstrate their craft during a cocktail reception. In London, you can also view some Boca do Lobo pieces at the COVET London Showroom.
