Created by Post-Office, the studio owned by the Canadian Designer Philippe Malouin, the new Valextra London Design Store in Mayfair, promises to be a fresh air to this chic district well known for its lavish exclusivity.

At 129 Mount Street, architectural elements and colored decorations are played in repetition so much so that they become integral part of the store.
A wide axonometric grey wall is a backdrop for the multi-colored bag on display and contrasts to the vivid pinked wall placed at the opposite side of the room. 
The green modern armchairs and the modern sofa give a comfortable and contemporary look to the store.
For Philippe Malouin, the owner of Post-Office “I believe Valextra to be a very architectural and minimalist brand. Consequently, the boutique had to reflect that style”. He adds “I’m fan of boundaries. Everything that has a limit, an edge, and so therefore I tried my best to design a place that had precise lines and contrasts of forms and spaces, as the location and the bags could be an unicum which turns into architecture”.
