Well, this industrial loft is everything we could ever dream of since it is the perfect combo between industrial and vintage style. The first thing we see is the Cole & Son palm wallpaper. The vintage wallpaper looks stunning in the hallway, providing it a modern atmosphere.
“We bought the apartment as we wanted a garden flat, and decided to do an extension and renovation to make more of the space.” Having written travel reviews for Conde Nast Traveller, it’s no wonder Laura’s drawn a lot of her inspiration from her travels. “The flat includes a lot of knick-knacks I have picked up from antique markets, work and my travels. We always bring one thing back from every holiday. I think it’s important to surround yourself with happy memories.”
“We had in mind a New York loft apartment in a London garden, so chose industrial details such as the exposed brick wall, steel Crittall windows, and micro-cement floor, then softened the look with lots of bright décor, antique wooden furniture and tactile fabrics.” Wondering, what is our favorite element in this dining room design? The industrial floor lamp!
Inspired by the first person to walk on the Moon, Armstrong arc floor lamp has a minimalistic style with a clear usability. This Nordic light combines a mid-century design with a structure handmade in brass and a base in white Carrara marble. The oval aluminum lamp shade is softened with a matte white finish. Armstrong arc lamp can reach a height of 59.1 inches with the help of the adjustable balance arm. With a counterweight made in steel, this mid-century lamp directs light anywhere a task light is needed, providing an exquisite touch to your interior design. Get the price!
We love the kitchen decor that features exposed brick walls and a vintage style. “The shelves are old Victorian floorboards which our friend Lucy stained and cut to the dimensions.”
The color palette gives a cozy and comfy atmosphere to this bedroom decor “The grey suede curtains were an absolute bargain! They were on display in the shop so reduced dramatically. They feel amazing, super luxurious. Although no one is allowed to touch them as they are a nightmare to clean!”
Of course, the mid-century modern credenza is the ultimate touch in this extra TV room. Doesn’t it provide a refined vibe to a space that is meant to watch sports on TV? Well, we love it!
