This past week we saw the 11th edition of PAD London unfold. Originally titled Pavillon des Antiquaires et des Galeries d’Art, PAD was established by art dealer Patrick Perrin in 1996. It was initially in Paris only, but has been running annually in London since 2006. With a total of 68 galleries exhibiting modern, contemporary and historical design pieces, the fair has become one of the biggest events in the UK’s collectible art and design calendar. Today, we’ll show you a selection of the best stands and pieces seen at the event, as well as the greatest moments!
Berkeley Square was once again the chosen venue for the fair, quicking off the Autumn in the greatest way. The world’s top collectors, dealers, and decorators headed to the Pavilion of Art & Design to celebrate design for the 11th time in London.

Rose Uniacke. The Pimlico-based dealer and interior designer won the prestigious award for the second time. She was last victorious at her PAD debut in 2015 and this year she seduced the judges with a stand lined in “butternut” velvet.

Galerie BSL brought their A-game as well. The French gallery gathered fantastic pieces that created a smooth and harmounious display in London. With pieces like Jinshi Pink Jade Coffee Table and the stunning Sea Anemones they delighted every visitor!
Time for the best pieces! The Abyss Coffee Table by Duffy London and exhibited by Sarah Myserscough Gallery made our jaws drop, at a remarkable and truly beautiful statement piece which, for us, was the greatest piece present at PAD London.
The other stand-out piece for us was The Fonteyn Chair by Brooksbank & Collins at Gallery Fumi. Combining the respective disciplines of architecture (Brooksbank) and fine art (Collins), this London-based duo creates wonderfully balanced and artful pieces. This one was inspired by the ballet dancer Dame Margot Fonteyn. An elegant and glamorous piece!
