One reason outdoor parties are so fantastic is that very little is needed in the way of decoration. The venue itself — garden, park, patio, roof deck, etc — provides the décor. So really all you need are a few great accessories to pull the party together. However, the outdoor lighting is one of the most – if not even the most important one. It gives the mood, the ambience, the décor, and most of all that ethnic look that is so inherent of Summer Parties by sunset.
You just need to invite over your friends, breath in the Summer air, give wings to your creativity and let the party begin!
Paper Lanterns
An evening in the garden is more festive when these magical lanterns are turned on. A globe of durable nylon, with some LED lightbulbs will light your garden when darkness falls. They can also be leaf or even dragonfly shaped, if you want a more romantic look.
Outdoor chandelier
For a small dining area, a simple candle chandelier is more functional than pillar candles. You can as well spread your creativity and create your own chandelier, simply using jars, wire and little candles.
String Lights
For a more practical solution, as well as for bigger areas, the string lights are your best friend. Just hang them in your garden trees or whatever suits for the purpose, making them cross along the space, and you’ll have the light and the mood all nigh long.
Outdoor Torches
Torches are the ultimate tribal outdoor lighting– beachy look for any Summer party. Even if you don’t have where to carve them on the ground, you will find several optinos with a standing base.

I really love the idea of paper lanterns as outdoor lightings. It would really add appeal to a party. And I guess it is easy to make and it is inexpensive too.
