THE BEST FROM LAPADA LONDON

One of the most interesting events of London Design Festival was Lapada London Art & Antiques Fair. Held as usual at Berkeley Square, 111 exhibitors showcased their most prized items, ranging from ancient art and artifacts to furniture and jewelry. A mixture of design and history, blend together perfectly to encourage visitors to decorate their home with a statemente piece and art collectors to add a priceless item to their collection. There was much excitement in Berkeley Square as the 111 exhibitors at the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair put the finishing touches to their stands.

The entrance was similar to the one Lapada has accustomed us to, because why change what is already perfect? The fair’s entranve sets the mood for what you can find inside.

Craig Carrington‘s stand was a masterclass in displaying neoclassical antiques in an interesting and appealing fashion!

ArtAncient displayed this Roman slab from 1 AD, which is thought to be one of the most important Roman inscriptions ever to be found in Britain.

Displaying objects and furniture from the 16th and 17th centuries, Peter Bunting‘s stand was a beautifully curated stand where everything was put together in a great way. THE BEST FROM LAPADA LONDON

Showcased by Boccara, this 17th century tapestry in silk and wool was one of six pieces made originally for the king of France and was woven by Ateliers du Faubourg Saint-Germain,

We end with the best stand award victor! With a playful fairground theme, Lucas Rarities captured the imaginations of judges and visitors alike, with a mix of interactive display ideas, neon lights and an exceptional collection of jewellery.
