Interspersing this medley of boozy flavours, attendees will be treated to the moreish scent of sizzling meats and spices wafting from street food stalls, who will be cooking simple and delicious food. In the very heart of this covered market will be a stage of live music, pumping out beats to sip and snack to.
For those not ready for the evening to end, stop by The House of Angostura pop-up. Overlooking the Cocktail Village, this late-night house party will be rocking every night of London Cocktail Week with DJs, delicious Angostura cocktails, and as with every good house party, people hanging out in the kitchen. The space above the Village also house the LCW info point and ticket office – where you can purchase wristbands and snap up last minute ticket deals to any of the tastings, parties and pop-ups across the capital.
In the heart of the West End, festivalgoers will discover a world of incredible mixology, exquisite spirits and unforgettable experiences in the home of the festival – the stylish World Class London Cocktail Week Hub. This one-week luxury pop-up will delight and surprise guests with a host of bespoke drinking experiences in this multi room hub, curated to celebrate the craft of the cocktail. Not only will you be able to pick up your wristband and pocket guide, but roam from one room of playful discovery to the other – suitable for the curious newcomer to the seasoned cocktail lovers alike. But that’s not all London Cocktail Week 2015 has to offer, there will be the usual timetable of unmissable parties, including the glamorous World’s 50 Best Bars awards ceremony on Thursday 8th October, master classes, supper clubs and the renowned self-guided Cocktail Tours which will see 250 of the best bars in the capital throwing open their doors to offer specially created cocktails for £5 to wristband wearers.
Siobhan Payne, Festival Director of London Cocktail Week said: “Having hit record numbers in 2014 with more than 22,000 guests attending the festival, we knew that London Cocktail Week was ready to move to an ever bigger home. The London Cocktail Week Village in Old Spitalfields Market and the much bigger World Class London Cocktail Week Hub in Soho is definitely going to take the festival to that next level”.
