Set to take place in the heart of London’s vibrant Notting Hill, the pop-up store will capture the essence of Julia’s work as an architect and designer, presenting her designs in a setting conceived by Julia herself.
The ephemeral space aims to deliver a unique and creative atmosphere, encouraging visitors to enjoy both the furniture and fashion designs.
The launch of the venture in London marks the next step in the capital for Julia von Werz, following her debut at LuxuryMade, during London Design Festival 2016. For the duration of the pop-up, Julia will be showcasing pieces including her Edgewood Sofa, Napier Table collection and Millbrook Lamp.
Founded by Julia von Werz, the practice that bears the same name aims to combine functionality and impeccable aesthetics, using only the best materials when designing and manufacturing its striking furniture design. These include remarkable woods sourced from old farms, riverbeds and workshops that boast distinctive lines and grains, making each piece entirely unique, which is paramount to the designer’s creative process.
Julia says, ‘As an architect, I have always felt that it is as important to build from the outside as it is from the inside. Architecture is at its best when it mirrors the use it is built for and that’s what I love: to create beautiful spaces and the bespoke pieces that furnish them. I always take every element of a project into consideration, from the building itself to the smallest of details inside’.
You definitely can’t miss this London Pop-up Store that will be for sure one of the places to visit if you want to get the best interior design inspirations!
