Founded by Terence Conran in 1974, The Conran Shop’s roots are in London, where it was responsible for the revival of the historic Michelin House building on Fulham Road, Chelsea. The Conran Shop has since grown with stores in Marylebone and Paris to become a leading luxury retailer offering a covetable edit of furniture, lighting, home accessories and gifts from some of the most iconic and up-and-coming designers from around the world.
The Conran Shop aims to inspire and excite through collections that reflect a way of life. Simple functionality, considered design and the latest innovation are the foundation of our philosophy. The shop seeks to offer its costumers a truly unique experience from the ever-changing space The Blue Room to regularly hosting exclusive events.
In 2012, Jasper Conran was appointed Chairman and Creative Director, overseeing visual transformations in all stores including Marylebone’s aspirational penthouse apartment and deliciously good The Conran Kitchen – which allows customers to mull over homewares with a fresh sandwich, cup of coffee or slice of Peggy Porschen cake.

Recently awarded Homes & Gardens ‘Retailer of the Year’ in 2013 and recipient of Wallpaper* Design Awards ‘Best Reissue’ in 2014 for the Judd at Conran Capsule Collection, The Conran Shop continues to play a central role in the flourishing London design scene. It’s not hard to see why The Conran Shop is the savvy shoppers’ go-to for classic designs, inimitable exclusives and bespoke buys, as Jasper Conran muses; “I love the idea of the store as a magazine. It’s all about highlighting different things, and discovering and showcasing new talent.”
